10 Reasons Why You Should Try Pole Dance

Everyone knows that exercise is a cheap way to stay fit and healthy life. But why Pole Dance? I will tell you why since I already falling in love pretty long time since I started it hehe



10 Reasons why you should try pole dance:

1. Keep fit and healthy
So, pole dance is not an easy thing to do, even a lot of people still stick with their mind with exotic dance ( still it is hahaha and I love it ) How it can keep your body still fit and healthy? Once you try it, you will understand because it need all your body muscle to work on it for every movement and tricks. All your body will need those muscle and strength.


2. Makes your body more flexible
Dance need to be flexible enough, yes pole dance too for sure. Pole dance without splits? Oh dear! Not for me, I still work on it but sure I will achieve that splits. Because I want all those tricks to do by myself one day hahaha That's why all pole dance always go to gym, yoga, flexible class, or pilates or any kind of things that can help to improve our body flexibility and strength.

3. Do you love muscle?
Yes, we do love muscles now. I feel sexy with those muscle lol Some of us not purposely wanna built that muscle but since we train a lot so we do have it now.


4. Sexy and hot body
Oh who doesn't love it! I do love it. I love my self more than before and yeah I still work on it with all those body roll, etc etc hahaha Really! Pole dance really helps my body keep in shape and especially my tummy. I wasn't have flat tummy and S-line shape. But yeah I do have now #fuckyeahbaby

5. More confidence
You will love your new life on pole dance and it also help you to build your confidence because you will try to respect and see all those improvement into your body and you will feel good by the time.

6. Release Stress
When you understress, pole dance will helps you to release it. You will want to come for classes or pole practice. At least meet friends and learn new things. Another ambiance that you won't feel alone. Exercise is the good way to release your stress and transfer your anger or stress energy to work out for your body.


7.  Good reason for being sexy, naughty, and hot
Good reason and good place for doing something fun with sexy and hot. So we have the reason to buy sexy and hot clothes or underwear or bikinis or sexy heels hehehe


8. More than just a normal workout
Because pole dancer also need to balance them selves on the pole especially. For every single thing that you can achieve, you will feel so happy and you want to try more and more. Or even you want to try the new things, even harder. 

9. There’s an immediate reward for your effort
I’m not saying you’ll get a six pack after one lesson. No. I’m saying that each time you put effort into pole dancing, you are almost instantly rewarded. At the start of a class you can’t do a fireman spin. One hour later, you can. Unlike many forms of exercise in which you create generic or distant goals, such as ‘to win a tournament’ or ‘to run for half an hour’, in pole there’s always a new move that’s just within reach. This leads us straight into the next reason pole dancing is great exercise…

10. It’s fun and exciting
This has become somewhat of a cliché in recent times. But guess why? Because it’s TRUE! And because people can’t stop talking about it. Pole dancing is so much fun that you truly want to turn up to class and exercise! This is perhaps one of the biggest reasons women flock to pole as a form of fitness, and also the reason why so many stick to it! The same can be said about many styles of dance, of course – which is why dancing (pole or otherwise) is my favourite form of exercise.


WARNING: Pole Dance is ADDICTIVE!

Because pole dancing is so enjoyable and rewarding, it quickly becomes an addiction! Your self-esteem sky-rockets, you feel great, you look great – and the sweet taste of victory quickly becomes addictive.

Pole Passion at Jakarta Indonesia

♥ HELLO LOVE 



When people says that pole dancer is a stripper. I take it easy as a joke. Life with passion on it just nice that way. I give a big respect to the strippers for sure. Why? same concept with all works. So hardworking with those sweat and pain. I respect all kind of work. I am not a stripper for sure. But pole dance is one of my fitness work out which is not that easy.

So, I went to Indonesia Pole Dance Association at Kemang, Jakarta, Indonesia. I been through Vicky's class and yes people in there are so nice and warm welcoming. I really so happy for how warm they were to me.

1 hour totally not enough. I should come often and learn more from them :)

I didn't have a chance to take the picture in there for this trick but I practice it while I am back Singapore for pole practice. Hell yeah! I still can make it ^.^

Not forgetting to give my small audience a little show which I learned my self from youtube before.

What I can tell, I know that a lot of Indonesian people still think that pole dance is kind of negative activity. I feel you all Indonesian Pole Dancer! I am not sure who started to introduce pole dance at Indonesia before. What I know that Yohanna, she joined IMB before. She was my teacher at Bobbi's Pole Studio Singapore.

I can see the passion on students there when I visited IPPA. I saw how much they want to learn and keep trying hard. Totally awesome! I adore all of them so much! Is not about how good you are. But how much you enjoy and love it. Vicky has such an awesome power and patient to teach. Her endurance was so great. I couldn't catch that hahaha... What a weak person I am... Boooo.... hahaha....

Reasons why I am falling in love with Pole Dance!

♥ HELLO LOVE 

I know that so many of you already know what is pole dance. Pole dance is not anymore stripper stereotype now day. A lot of people already open minded with it. Now days, pole dance already become one of favorite fitness to choose. Why now?



1. Strength to be stronger
One of sport that need strength and you become stronger time by time. Before I joined pole dance, I can not do push-up even for once. Now? Try me! At least 10 times maybe I already can do it. It totally increase your strength with those pull-up, some massive arms and core strength.

2. Flexibility
I wasn't flexible at all before I join. I even can't do splits, or any flexible stuff. To prepare yourself, take a long warm-up, any gym or yoga class which can help to get your flexibility faster. I am doing it almost every night if I have time after working. It takes me sometimes for it but didn't realise when I did splits, my friend told me that I almost touch the floor ( it was long long time ago )

3. Appreciate your own body
I realise that I become the one who appreciate my own body now. Trying to get healthy and take care my own body shape. Which I feel hotter and sexier now Lol... Why not? All single kind of dance has their own sexy movement with those musics. And pole dance is also one of that. It is really bring my feminism, sensuality, and sexy.

4. Fun
I never find pole dance is not fun at all. Why? Because I never feel boring with it. No new trick? It's okay! Me and my friends even my star-crush always love to make fun on it! How? Let's do booty dance! Or maybe twerking hahaha... Or just doing some sexy legs while floorworks! Pole dancer knows it so well! Hahaha

Those  4 points from my opinion that really brings me so happy for every class that I joined in. I can forget my sadness on the class and changed it with smiles and laughthers. I always looking forward for the next class. With those sexy move, and new tricks hehehe...

Double Knee Hold Achievement

♥ HELLO LOVE 

New term with the new tricks. So many things happened and I haven't post or blog about it. I was too busy ☺️

Okay first of all I manage to do double knee hold. And yes it's so pain. Super pain for real 😂😂😂
Wohoooo!!! Totally proud of my self with my achievement.

Tips how to do this? 
1. Brace yourself and enjoy the pain
2. Hang your leg higher, any side which are more comfortable for you to hold
3. Place your opposite knee to the pole. Not into your bones, but more to your knee
4. Lean back your body and lower it your body, so it will be balance yourself and less painful

Blog Hop: The Best of 2013

December! Yeayyy... My favorite month ever when I really feel the Holiday mood for every single year of December ^.^

I started learning how to do pole around 1 year ago and still go on now. Up and down I have been through a lot of things, and I still love it. A lot of thing that I got from pole. From something that I never thought that I could do it until I can do it even not perfect or master on it. ^.^ 
I am so happy about my own self now.

Talking about "THE BEST" that I got is really not easy because I really got a lot of things from it.

They are really inspired me a lot. I met this awesome ladies who are really kind and nice also inspiring me to become as good as them. One day I will become my own-self who also can inspired a lot of people, same like what they do to me ^.^

Yup, I joined her Hand Stand Workshop because I really want to learn how to do handstand lol Her workshop was very fun. Jacinta is the cute person, energetic and fun! I am glad can join her workshop.

Deb Roach is my inspiration how not to underestimate your self. She is very down to earth person, very kind and very nice, also so strong. When I watched her performance on the IPC Stage. I was crying happily to see her. There's something on her that I really love. "Never Give Up!" I am so glad can meet her at Yoga Movement and did the morning yoga power with her. She is such a strong woman. I really adore her so much!

I know that everything come with a hard work. Nothing is that easy!
With them all as my inspiration, I learn a lot of things. So, I won't give up easily for what I already start. I remember my own passion about it! Like them all, with love on the pole, they really prove it and achieve the medals from my own meaning of winning ^.^

THE GOAL

I still have some goal that I haven't achieved yet by this year but I will try harder to get it on the next year.
Yes, the splits... I almost can do it but I get the injury which is now I couldn't make it. Not even close. Yes, I am moving backward now. I had been so sad but I want to move on and give it a try on my self to start over again from ZERO! Once again, "Never Give Up!"

Small Progress is still a Progress! With patient, practice, and hard work, one day I will make my own goals will come true!

Bring me there "Bendy Back" !

♥ HELLO LOVE 

When the other pole dancer already move forward to get the new awesome tricks, I am still stuck with my own mission for the bendbacks and splits. Okay today I won't say anything about my splits first.
Still try recover from the injury! ;(
That's why I move to the bendback.

I still struggle to get bendy back. I know that I am not a flexible person but I still need to have a try right? So far that I can do is this super lousy cocoon trick hahaha

It really takes time to get there. And I haven't felt any improvement on my self about it. But I have move backward improvement though ;( *so sad!



Not sure how I can do it better for it but what I know just more practice and practice. I had so much pain on this bendy back. 

FYI: my left leg still pain from the last injured T.T What a shame!
So, it may caused I can't really get a nice cocoon trick. Not sure about that because this reason just an excuse for my self lol...

Do you know how to get it right? I found it so painful to my lower back nerves. And always get cramps on my legs for sure.
